I researched the source code of CopperLicht. It's the open-source product from Ambiera. I studied the code of the "Target" feature of Cameras and I converted it to an "Action" extension that can be attached to all nodes. It allows a node to look toward the direction of another node. Get it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/... It's affected by human-like movement, meaning it won't have six-degrees-of-freedom like a ball, but it's still a great extension. To test it, put the file above in your "Documents\CopperCube\extensions" folder, and then try this CCB file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/... Use the mouse and WASD buttons to move around as a first-person character, and the soldier will always look toward you. |

what are you talking about ishmaru? it's still there available for download! |

It says I need permission to access files, it may not be public anymore |

strange, i have no problem downloading both of them. maybe you need to be signed into your google account. i can upload a direct link to the files through my website if you like. |

I have the same problem as ishmaru, can't access without permission (tried also signing out and signing in as my organisation with same sad result) Love what you've done though, Wild-Master, so i'd really like to test it out! |

I'm not sure what happened, I downloaded the file without any problems a week ago but than two days ago it demanded permission. Anyway I uploaded JS file on Newgrounds: https://www.newgrounds.com/dump/... ...I'm sorry, I've deleted the accompanying CCB so it's just the extension file but it's very easy to use, you don't really need CCB. If anyone knows of a way to modify this action so that actor is only turning towards player and not turning up or down while looking towards that would be great :) When I start approaching the actor with this action & come real close, he almost goes into the ground :) |

I'm new to Copper Cube and not 100% sure if I understand the behavior you're talking about. Might be crazy to ask.. but is there a short video demonstrating this? Thanks M |
