Impressive.... Ask me if i can help you out in anything!

few things that needs to be improved..

there is still the selection bug. can't select from right to left...

no collision between soldiers, objects become one unit when constantly moved to same position...

You mean with selection rectangle? If yes, I don't understand why it does not draw the rectangle.

For that a unit formation is needed. I will implement that later.

Any contribution will be really helpfull

I am working on models right now. Will change all models on upcoming updates.

Thank you

Well I guess my RTS behavior/template was completely ignored...

it all ready had code to keep units spread out and you can do collisions (look at the tanks in the template) along with other things like Shift selecting to add an indiviual to the group and ctrl clicking to remove a unit from the selection

It can be found here: https://www.ambiera.com/forum.ph...

Lately I have been working on unit combat and made huge strides in that department (I haven't posted it yet) units will target enemies, units will die play their animation, or you can specify an explosion fx, shooting animation, armor types+damage multipliers specify range, shooting fx among other things. And you can specify a folder and any node in that folder it will target. It's still not complete but I'll have a video of the progress today or tommrow.

@Ishmaru sorry i didn't saw that thread... loved the way unit formation is done .. it is really cool to see the soldiers in that formation.. and i did noticed that your single unit selection is also better than areibma...

Just Awesome!

I am a bit confused, why you think your behavior was ignored. I am sure someone is using your template.I just did not wanted to add shift or ctrl selection.
Regarding selection, I could not find a way to select multiple unit without using a loop, while selection is done using rectangle selection. Anyone is welcome to refactor my code or a better implementation.
All RTS games are different. I am a fan of The Settlers game, so I followed it a little
I am here to learn and help whatever I can, not to compete someone

Thank you

I wasn't trying to compete, I thought we were contributing to a community rts script so I felt my contribution was ignored. But if you want to do your own thing I understand.

For the selection rectangle problem. You can use my script to draw rectangle on any side. But you have to script the unit selection by yourself as i am not having much time to work on my pc. i can't script or modify my script for selecting units. i will surely update this script after march 2019. but till then if you or anybody else can modify the script then it will be helpful for others members of the community.

Now you can draw a better selection rectangle. Hope that helps.

here is the link to the thread i have posted the link to the source file.
