Hi all I finally have made success with collada, just one thing bugging me.. When I import in to irredit for example I get the last model group in the list. If I look at the mesh field under the imported model it says "media/myModel/myModel.daetop-lib" and changing it to "media/myModel/myModel.dae" does nothing. When I look for the object its there with only that one group. Disclaimer: What do I mean by group? Well I'm not a "modeler" per-say so I feel I better explain. Here is the code for the "group", or mesh I'm referring to. the materials: <library_materials> The image : <library_images> the <library_effects>, is very long let me know if I should post all of that. In maya its a group. So that is how I know of it. In any event only the last in the dea file is being show. Almost like irrEdit is just loading each over its self and leaving the last. I dont know if irrLicht loads it any better yet, as I have not written that code just yet. If this is an irrEdit bug then please let me know and i'll make do. here is the out put in irredit. I think this is a bug in irrlicht, irrEdit does nothing more than just telling irrlicht to load that file. I guess you'll find some better help in the irrlicht forum. |

LOL The extra section holds some additional properties, which are usually not used by Irrlicht. The problem could be that the irrEdit node handling doesn't check for all the other meshes loaded, and doesn't update its internal states. Better ask in the irrEdit forum, though. Funny that is why I came here . Oh well I mention that you felt it want not an irredit thing, thx. |
