Only and only if he knows that you used coppercube to create that android app.... And only if he has coppercube and he know that coppercube uses .ccb extensions....

Then yes, he will be able to extract the whole source code... Including models, textures and sounds too...

Sorry...

With enough determination someone probably could, yes. I know there's a brilliant piece of software called Ninja Ripper for Windows games. It rips 3D models 99% of the time in T-pose (it's advanced stuff) and from what I recall it doesn't work with CopperCube fully (it does, but it rips models posed).

The reason I said the program is "brilliant" is not because of the fact that people could rip off other'people's work, but just because it's a fascinating program to me. 3D Ripper DX was a similar program, and there was another one called GameAssassin, but that one was extremely confusing and it was paid.

The game developers should concentrate on game developing rather than thinking about whether the game would be hackable or not. Even if the game gets hacked nobody would be able to use those models in a game.

They could re-use the models easily enough fro whatever they'd want it for. Just look at sites like models-resource: It's filled with ripped models (mostly console games, but many PC games too) and they're really nicely done.

What you said is similar to when some developers sometimes will implement the small stuff first and then the big, major stuff last: Don't do that. Put in the core mechanics first and then worry about the fun stuff later.

The game development tools are irrelevant.
There are all kind of DirectX and OpenGL rippers.
So any model and any texture can be extracted from any game.

In fact an APK is a ZIP file.
If you take a look inside of the APK and the "assets" folder, you'll see the CCB file.

I actually really need to figure out how to do this as I have lost the source files to the game I have been building! (I know, backup, backup, backup), I am going to as soon as I get the source back into coppercube. My game is however a ".exe" for Windows. How can I do this? Please help and thank you in advance, and my small community awaiting its release etc thank you as well :)

Unfortunately, yes. You can just rip most models while the game is running, you don't need to decompile anything - you just need to find the correct tools. The hardest part of ripping is a quick google search to find the ripping software to use, and a tutorial on how to do it. I'm currently ripping google Earth mas for my game butit takes quite a lot of effort. As for android, most people would emulate the game through windows (eg: bluestacks) to force the models through a PC graphics card or system RAM, then use windows tools to rip the model and textures from either the graphics card RAM or system RAM snapshots, then convert the data to a usable model format using blender plugins or 3rd party software and add the textures and UV map. For things that are harder to rip, there are also people you can hire to do it for you - BUT- unless the models are amazing, I doubt anyone would bother spending the time or money to rip the models from your game. It took me around 10 minutes per model to rip a flag animation and some weapons and missiles from Battlefield 2 game using windows and it takes me over a week to make a city using 3D snapshots of small segments on Google Earth.
