memory corrupted when enabling NVidia "share" function

Hi Niko,

I have recently noticed a heap corruption during the call to createIrrKlangDevice() (VS debugger attached):

createIrrKlangDevice(ESOD_DIRECT_SOUND_8, ESEO_DEFAULT_OPTIONS & (~ESEO_LOAD_PLUGINS));

It seems it's linked with NVidia Geforce Experience "Share" functionality. I assume they introduce some kind of DLL hook or similar mechanism in order to intercept DirectSound.

When this function is disabled, I have no issue anymore.

So, I guess this is not really a problem no irrKlang side, however, I would be interesting in solving this bug, but I have currently no way of moving forward...

Can you reproduce this issue on your side ?

Thanks
Greg

Hm, I couldn't reproduce it yet, no, sorry. What operating system are you using? What D3D version is your game using?

I am using the 64-bits version of the DLL, Windows 10 anniversary update 64, and our app is using D3D11.

Still wasn't able to reproduce, but maybe I have a newer version than you, seems that NVidia Experience thing is pretty buggy and crashes frequently [1] [2]
