I'm new to Irredit and I have some questions: 1.Does Irredit send the map I've made to the engine (Irrlicht) or do I have to do that? 2.When using 3ds max, does the world have to be sealed or can it be open 3.If the level has to be sealed, how do I get the sky box to work then 4.How do I change the skybox (like to night) 5.I have the engine and Irredit in 2 different folders, do I have to have them together in the same folder or do I keep them in 2 6.Should I set up a folder for the levels I have made or do I just save them where ever Thanks in advanced for who ever can answer these. |

1: What do you mean by 'send'? You just need to load the saved file in irrlicht. 2: Doesn't need to be sealed. 3: See 2. 4: Go to the materials tab, select the sky box and change the textures. 5: You can do both. Put the game and irrEdit in one folder is the simplest way. If you decided not to, just set the working directory of irrEdit (in options) to the one of your game. 6: What you like better. |
