Usually, it only should turn off and then never come back, unless you turn it on manually again somehow. A behavior won't run when the object is set to invisible. If you add the behavior to another object which won't be made invisible, and let that object turn on/off the light, then it will work.

Hello,

in my scene I was not able to turn off a point light , which action could do it ? I tried with Hide object but lights remain... how should the scene light mapping settings and the point light be?

Thank you!!!

You can make it invisible, then it turns off. Making it visible again turns it on. The lightmapping is static, this doesn't influence it, unless you recalculate the lightmapping. If you want an effect like this, use dynamic lighting on your objects. You don't get shadows then, but it is dynamic and the light on/off is reflected.

Erik

So what your saying is I am able to create a light switch to turn on my light and off as long as it's dynamic lighting?
