Hi all, First I have to express my compliments for IrrEdit and IrrLicht it is wonderfull stuff you people are doing here. My question : I have update IrrEdit to the latest version available yet and I must say I see a lot of improvement. But their is something strang happening with the Light/Shadowmapping in IrrEdit. Lightspots appear on places where normally no light can be and strange dark spots on places where they shouldn't be . That is too bad, because I have to make all my lightmappings in 3dmax now and when I embed these max maps all works fine with all the lightspots on the right places. Can this be the cause of IrrEdit or my model ? Just asking , because I model for a very long time but I have never seen a problem like this one :) Is their someone who can help me with this ? I added an image to make it all clear. http://www.dee-3.com/irrEdit/irr... |

This could happen if a polygon is too huge. Simply adjust your lightmap size or split the poly up into smaller polygons, this should help. |
