IrrEdit 0.7 runs pretty well under wine-0.9.37 on my Ubuntu 6.10. I just had to switch to the software renderer in the preferences and to relaunch IrrEdit. The software renderer is not quick, but it is sufficient to test IrrEdit and to build some simple scenes. BTW, loading examples in a Linux Irrlicht program does not directly work because of upper/lower case problems in file names. You can easily fix them after reading errors on the console output when you run the program. |
