I broke down and bought the light update with the possibility of upgrading to pro later on when and if I need it.

Now to get cracking - anybody able to answer me on the rotating light question?

RE: Rotating police light...
Mike, You Sure can. Use the dynamic lighting feature. Model a police light, where there is an point light inside and have a rotating light dome with transparent slots in the light dome. Again - take a look at my lava bombs and boulders in the volcano demo. There is a basic game building walkthrough tutorial (being updated) on the farmpeeps site and I uploaded the volcano ccb file so you can examine how these effects were accomplished.

RE: Workaround for CC3 Random Variables
FairyGirl,
Psudo-random variables can be developed using the proximity and/or time functions to generate a value for you using behavior interactions. This is a case where I will use transparent objects to interact in a path and have them trigger a variable count that is factored by player input, or time.
For instance a simple count time function can be done by adding .01 to a to variable X 0.05 seconds, and when that variable X = 100, add 1 to variable Y and reset X back to Zero. This ensures you do not loop endlessly and bog doen the game and maintain th decimal range you need for the value. Again you can compound this result with a value obtained from user or NMC IA input such as a proximity trigger.
I run these 3D node "variable generator" animations in the game runtime a hidden area, minute scale and/or transparent.
Let me know if this makes sense, if not I will whip up a sample.

Thank you. I will look into this. I did not see any documentation on a dynamic light in CopperCube.

Absolutely loving V4 so far.
I am testing a few things on my galaxy note and getting amazing results!

After playing with a few ideas, I would like one thing added to the wish list for android:

A pinch to zoom in or out on the model viewer camera would be the icing on a very tasty cake.

Does anyone know of a way to add zooming on the current model viewer which will work with android. I am thinking of a slider or button press to zoom in or out.

Thank you for V4 Niko!

No, currently there is no way to let the model camera zoom. But it's going to be added, it makes sense.
@fairygirl still on the TODO list :)

Congratulations Niko on the new CopperCube release v4.

Well done as usual.

I love the new particles systems as well as android features as well as the acceleration and inclination features.

I noticed a problem with the 3rd person shooter camera

using the same 3rd person shooter camera with the same settings

There has been a small change in how the 3rd person camera is set up now in CopperCube: Previously, you could place the camera anywhere, and it would follow the person always from behind. Now, the camera will stay relative to where you placed it behind the person. In this way, you can achieve more and different camera angles. To change the angle again, you can set the 'additional rotation' in the camera behavior.

ANDROID PUBLISHING TIP: If your windows user name has a space character in it, you will need to consider another user account for obtaining and publishing Android certs. Space characters are not liked by Java and the keystore form! You will get an illeagle opertation error with your data rejected.

Thanks to Techo-Valley for helping me identify the source of this problem!

Hi Niko,

Now, I´m testing CC4 and is awesome, really will be this toool very usefull on my workflow.

There is a recomendation (if possible will be nice)...

I find on Actions > "Change position (or rotation) of a scene Node"

It have the option : "Move(or rotate) animated"... (but I Didn´t find it on Scale)

It will be very usefull if be there a: "Scale Animated" option too.

Thanks!
