I would be very happy if I suggested to you how you can do so after seeing the drop down menu, it closes automatically and do not have to click outside the menu.

Nice website. But no, there is currently no option for this in WebsitePainter. But you can try and modify the wsp_menu.js file which is written out into the images directory for modifying the menu behavior, if you know a bit about javascript programming.
