A land far away in the distant stars. Violence erupts between the Muslims, Christians and Jews over a land dispute. Hatred and prejudice spread across the land as the three holy kingdoms fight over the Garden of Eden, but one day the violence was met by an invasion from the skies by humanoid robots known as the 'ZULU', who started oppressing the people of faith for their existence. This very land in the distant stars is known as FARLOW, 'the land of faith to those who are far from it.' Isabella, a princess to the Christian people, had a vision from God in her sleep that she would save the world from the Zulu. Isabella is awakened after her vision by an angel, who tells her not to fear. The angel tells her to stay calm and says God has gifted her an 'angel soul', which will allow the princess to become an angel and defeat the Zulu. The angel tells the princess to make a pilgrimage to the Garden of Eden, where she will become an angel. Isabella sets off from the Kingdom of Gabriel and makes her journey in secret alone to the Garden of Eden. This is where the story begins... |

I gave it a try, the intro from the exe version was missing ( trimmed for file size? So no fight with the big guy ) Frame rate stayed fairly good, im guessing its the default 40fps for webgl? Because wasn't as smooth as the exe version. The exe version had the intro and story setup, but I had problem with resolution, I had to minimize the window, then right click and tell it to maximize to get it to display properly 1920x1080. Wasn't quite sure how to fight, so I just kept circling around him and hoped he would flash red, lol I somehow won the fight. Stayed 60 fps , I got into town and the quest to save the princess. Some polish and visual feedback during the combat would go a long way. Does it or is it going to have platforming/parkor of any kind? Good to see projects done in CC ???? Sam |

Thanks for the feedback, Sam! I will improve to the best of my ability and implement your feedback in my next project in Coppercube. The Webgl Demo was exported 120fps with update mode 'every frame'. I tried on a few devices and noticed it does struggle to run on most hardware devices on the web browser. I exported the main game Farlow.exe as 1920x1080 with dynamic resize option and maximize to full screen button. I did try on another device and yes there does seem to be that issue where you have to change the size of the display screen to maximize to full screen 1920x1080. I think this is because when you open and run the application it does not show the maximize full screen option until the display has been changed. The hit box was designed as a 'path box' inside the enemy and the weapon as a proximity effect which reduces the enemy health bar. Maybe in the future I can implement parkour, I want the game to have parkour, but may take some time to learn how to implement it in the game, but I wish to improve as much as I can in the future. I think it was something to do with the scaling on my laptop screen, when hooked to a monitor ( both are 1080p ) it had no problem and launched correctly. So that was something on my end. Its a gaining laptop with hybrid gpus , intel and nvidia 1660 . The intel is only supposed to run the desktop. But it does have problem with switching sometimes. So might something to do with that yeah would be a lot to implement. Sam |
