CopperCube 6.7.2 is available now. (I know, I know) Get it here: https://www.ambiera.com/coppercu... Changes: - Fixed a problem causing the CTRL+C shortcut not to work in some localizations - Fixed a problem causing the D3D redistributable not to install sometimes on 64bit systems - C++ source code now includes projects for building with VS2022 without changes, updated some documentation - Various smaller improvements everywhere |

Many thanks for the update. Please, would it be possible to get a list of those various smaller improvements everywhere? |

Always exciting to see updates come out. And yes, you've fixed two issues that have plagued the engine since I think 5.7 and 5.5, respectively. I imagine the smaller improvements are just general updates to various dependencies. Though maybe he fixed some obscure issue which is only known by a few people. |

I am glad you still with us :) The niko himself, it felt like a dream that come true, i mean yes it isnt a big update but i wanna say thank you. We all love your work and you bring people together who have same interests like an easy to use game engine. Thank you! |

I imagine maintaining this engine is a pain, given the age of it and being based on an old Irrlicht version (though Irrlicht in general is quite ancient). I hope that maybe 6.7.3 will fix a bug where, when importing prefabs (with lightmaps), it properly assigns the lightmap textures, because as it is now, it scrambles them out of order, and the only workaround is to export to WebGL, copy the lightmap textures, and then re-assign them manually. |

Yea - it's a bit of work but I still plan to make some bigger updates especially since the tech has moved on a bit - in order to catch up a bit. Please, would it be possible to get a list of those various smaller improvements everywhere? It's mostly stuff you won't see - like fixing some potential situations where the editor would have crashed - or some small speed improvements at certain places - or other technical things like it's now compiled with a new compiler (previously it was done using VS2017 now VS2022) which also might result in performance and security improvements etc. |

Good to see that you not abandoned us with new updates on CC. I notice since this compiler changes, when I compile and execute from the editor there's a 3-4 seconds wait gap between end compiling and the execution of the game. Especialy with big project (226mb) made with previous 6.7.1 version. Is it normal? p.s.: It seems that the "Remove Unused Texture" crash is fixed (or not?) |

There should not be a difference - try again with 6.7.1 - don't you get that pause there too? |
||||
|
I dont get that pause in 6.7.1 indeed |
