Hi all,

New guy here and I am just starting to learn about this. But I really want to learn this program and I have an ambitious website project ahead of me.

Here is my current issue. The screen in the program looks like this:

As you can see the image ("articulate math" is an image) and the text are both centered. but the website looks like this

Not centered and also a differnt font.

I used a container

placed the image in the container using "image"

also placed the text in the container and used Century Gothic.

What have I done wrong?

Thanks! emoji icon_grin

Did you use a free floating text? Use a normal container or better just type the text directly into the container.

But the font not working is strange - something unusual is happening there..

Thanks Erik,

Yes I used a normal container and typed directly into the container. also put the image into the same container a couple of lines above the text. clicked center on both as you can see in the first picture.

I have been watching rocketcaketutorials.com videos and I was trying to be very by the book. Also started reading some of the manual posted on Ambiera.

Of course, I may have done something weird. Maybe I will make a new page and try again and see what happens.

Ok I figured out what I did wrong!

When publishing to disk, i have to create a folder to save the files in.

Then I drag the whole file over in FileZilla to transfer. This includes the CSS file and I had neglected dragging this file over previously.

So it was not a RocketCake issue, but just me not knowing the right procedure for transfering files and understanding I have to transfer all the files. Not just the html.

Thanks,

Ah, makes sense.

There is also an option to include the css in the html, so then you only have one single file.

Thanks for the tip! I will check it out as I keep learning more about how this works.
