Been on chat with my stupid web host company, hosting.com, for hours. I published updates to my site twice this morning. Had a problem that their agent said for me to delete my cache I did and my site showed up again - yes, it was completely showing.

Any, this afternoon I cannot publish at all - no error messages, just cannot publsih. RC saves my update, but when publishing the updates do not show up on my sites page.

They said it is a developer issue - that nothing is wrong on their end. I don't know what to do. My site is a news aggregation site - I update it every day.

If you can please help.

Try clearing your browser cache and view again, or use another browser or device.

I see the homepage with June 3 updates.

Which version of RocketCake are you using?
When uploading, try unchecking the option "only upload updated or new files" - then it will upload again everything, just to be sure.

Thanks.

Niko - I am using the latest version of RC. I did what both of you said.

Today - Microsoft Edge is accepting and showing my published updates but Chrome is not. I have cleared the cache and files several times and my published updates still do not show. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

how do you clear your Server Cache? I cleared my browser cache many times - even did a ctrl+shift+R.

I just uninstalled Chrome. When I installed it again my published updates showed up - when I surfed to another site and came back to my site my published updates were gone again.

What the!

Hi Rick,

I think I remember you had a similar problem before. Maybe you are not completely clearing your cache or maybe you have a proxy installed caching the site?
Try Hitting CTRL+F5 - or use another browser just to try out. Or even from a different system. Maybe you'll find out that way what is happening on your side emoji icon_smile

Thanks Niko. Yes, I did have a similar problem several months ago...do not remember what we did.

Anyway - I can close Chrome for an hour or so and then reopen it - my published updates show. I surf to another website and then go back to my site and my published updates are gone...as if I never published them at all. Updates show on Microsoft Edge...just not Chrome.

The page still has my older updates - just not my current updates.

I am at my wits end...which is not far. I was diagnosed with lung cancer two weeks ago. I just don't need this problem. Please help me figure out what to do.

If it shows in one browser but not in the other then it's for sure the cache.

Or maybe you are viewing the local version or an old version from your disk somewhere or another web version and confusing some of these? Happened to me once emoji icon_grin
