Hello, I've been exploring coppercube for a month now and I think it's a great! But I found that some FBX animations don't get imported properly. There's strange stretching happening. I've read on the forums that this software called Ultimate Unwrap Pro helps fixing it. Would someone with this software help me see if it really fixes it please? If it does, I will absolutely buy that software because there's a lot of animation I want to do :) |

It definitely fixes it, export as 2015 fbx format. There is a free version of Ultimate Unwrap (I linked a download somewhere here in the past) if you're just using it to convert models, grab the fbx plugin and export as 2015fbx. |

..unless the animation problem is because of importing from a different model rig -if that's the case, it wont fix that. Import all your animations from the exact same rig (or you'd have to retarget the glitched animations, in a different software, prior to importing to Copperc ube). If you post the files here, I'll test for you, |

Hey! I've tried the free version for UU3D, but it required me to purchase it to be able to export anything.. I think? Maybe I used it the wrong way. So basicaly, if I owned the full version, I would need to get an FBX plugin for it and then export in an older FBX format, all within UU3D right? Well I'm leaving the FBX link here if you want to test it out. Both the model and the rig was done from scratch using Blender 4.0. It only has one bone fully weighted to the mesh. It has 2 animations too. https://drive.google.com/file/d/16BQZM66EI3wS4We1A_Lwg4zIJr19jXLn/view?usp=sharing Thank you in advance! |

That's it - I think so - let me test it first - don't buy it yet in case it doesn't fix it. I'll convert it now and upload the 2015 fbx model for you to test. |

Here you go (link will expire in 1w), basically I opened your model, clicked save as...2015 fbx. If it works and you do buy ultimate unwrap, hit their downloads section for the fbx exporter. **Another free option? may be "better fbx exporter" for blender - again, just select 2015 format. |

It works magnificently! Thank you very much VP ! I'm going to check out this 'better fbx exporter' plugin you suggested. But I'm pretty much sold after the outcome of this UU3D export. Thank you again! Time to make games :D |
