So far i am loving coppercube . but im also wondering why this engine not become more famous. it is a very powerful and easy to engine . u can do almost any thing in it without much limitation .
i don't know coding at all and so far i have been able to make working 3d game level from this engine.

My game is presently stuck at Stage 3, but I still love CopperCube, because it made my game actually possible, to this point. I just need to have the funds to find someone willing/able to get me the rest of the way. Not sure who/when, but I'm not giving up. Think I'll play Stage 2 again...

Why u stuck at 3rd level?
i dont know what you goals but i do my work within coppercube flow and so far i have not faced any problem, yes i know i cant do complicated things right now, but any thing in the behaviors tab is quite easy and applicable .

yes agreed, but still the engine is way too good and powerful to not getting much Recognition

I need better AI "logic" for the attacker in the 3rd Stage. Then I need to have more animations done for the main character (a bipedal wolf). Not having the money to accomplish these two things is why it's stuck at 3rd Stage presently.

i can make u animations, i can do 3ds max but im not expert in animations, still i can try just to learn.
for AI logic i don't know any thing about scripting and i am also some what stuck in my game level, then i decided to change the rules according to what the engine can do without scripting

I need the assailant to be "smarter". So, instead of just following you like bloodhound, if you get out of range (if he can't "see" you (you're behind a mountain or something) or you're too far away), he will stop chasing you directly and take a different route and try to "outsmart" you.

@sven I know sven can write a good code. But you need a enemy attack. Your game need testing so you fix all the bugs.

My AI uses Waipoints and connections between them to navigate on map. (its not new stuff-i have shared older versions already on itch)

Waipoints (red boxes) are connected between each other (if possible) (lines)
(connections are made automatically you just need to place waypoints to the map) -connections can be deleted to get more desired routes.
(those lines and boxes are just visual and are not needed in real game-all my script needs are positions and connections data that can be exported into javascript or txt file)

So if you map have roads then most likely you want AI to move on roads while trying to catch player ( as shown in video)
Waypoints can be placed inside the buildings also-so AI can follow player inside the buildings.

So if AI cant see player it can try to find route to the player by using waypoints and its connections..that means AI wont move straight to the player if it cant see player ..in example if AI cant see player AI runs on route..if it sees player then it walks towards player. By moveing on correctly set waypoints it will avoid obstacles and finds player as needed..

Luposian, for create this AI system that you want you will need or one custom AI extension with actions extensions to manage the possible actions the enemies will apply or you will need to work with one complex variable system and multiple meshs parent in one object to manage visibility of the character to create one field of view based in sensors, one example with extensions and AI created for coppercube:

when the character is in sensor radious of enemy, the variable enemy see is 1, the if the variable enemy see is one the mesh the enemy follow is visible, the mesh of character that was config to enemy follow will be visible, when the character is distant of sensor of enemy, the variable enemy see is 0, if the variable enemy see is 0, the mesh will be not visible, make the enemy stop follow the character.

one example for one new custom AI and extra extensions:

When the character is in the sensor of enemy, the game will check the variable system to decide what action will do, depend how the this new custom AI work, the action will be follow the character.

Luposian would be interesting if you write one example about what you need to create the AI mecanics you want.

One sugestion, is try to adapt the AI system created by just in case for his beat up example, to try to create one custom complex AI system using the resources from coppercube.
