Good day all! I am just starting to learn RocketCake as I have decided that our existing website seriously needs an update and this is someting i want to tackle without going to a professional web designer. I have created an initial "test webpage" with a home page and separte pages. My struggle is how to actually view what I have created. I am using Chrome at this point. I know eventually it will have to be made mobile friendly, but at this point, I just want to know I am doing it correctly. While I am here, what is the process to (from my other life) do a page flip so that when a button on the main page is pressed, i.e. "button for page 1" should make the page flip to page 1 which I have hopefully created. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Mike |

In RocketCake, you can just click "Preview" and it should open your website in the default browser you selected. You can then simply resize the browser window to see how your website looks like in different screen sizes. For advanced users: Open the devtools, and you can even select which phone it should look like. In RocketCake, the editor itself, you can move the slider on the bottom of the page and see how it your website behaves on different sizes. Or use the menu View -> Show as on Device -> pick a device like iPhone. Hope this helps! |

Thanks for the response Erik. Greatly appreciated. I will give it a try. One other thing I can't figure out is how to make a button actually change to a different page on the website. ... and in the interest of community safety, my ID is related to the fact that I am a licenced professional pyrotechnician, not a pyromaniac! Cheers! |

You just need to create a button (use the "styled button" element for this), right-click, select "Create hyperlink" and then select as type "Page in project". Then it should work! |

Thanks Niko... That did it! With that and the support from others, now maybe I can start generating some real content, rather than just "test test! Cheers! |
