Hi. I noticed that the sidebar menu does not work correctly if you click on its link from any page that is in a folder. For example: 1. It works well if I tap a link of a sidebar from https://index.html 2. It works bad if I tap a link of a sidebar from https://folder/page.html P.S. I placed the sidebar menu on the masterpage.html |

Yes, when you have it on a master page, that's true, that won't work since you manually enter the URLs in the sidebar properties, and they won't be changed like hyperlinks in RocketCake when the master page is used from a different subfolder. A workaround is probably for you to create a second master page with a sidebar with relative URLs for sub folders. |

I have a similar question. My website has a page in a sub-folder that is password protected on my server using the option that my host provides. (I tried using the RC password protection and find that it does not do what I need in this situation). If I create a page for that folder in RC and then upload it to the sub-folder, I assume all the links in the menu bar will be wrong, since they were entered as being part of website and not an external link. Must I create a duplicate masterpage and then re-do all the links, and then upload the new master and the one page to the sub-folder? Or, is there an easier way? |

You can also just simply enter absolute URLs instead of relative ones, like instead of "about.html", enter "https://example.com/about.html", then it works everywhere. |

Yes, I remember that from another website created using RC. I was hoping to not have to edit all of the menubar links for the page. In other apps. the search and replace feature can be used to edit URLs on a page a template, to do what is needed but because of the way RC is constructed, there is no such feature. Please consider adding a way to search and replace URLs to a page's URLs and to a masterpage's menubar. Thanks! Avery |
