Aside from the texture sizes still not being power-of-two, I have to say - this game actually looks really pretty. Nicely done.

Is the ccp file not protected in the *.exe?
How is this possible?

If we don't know how that works how could we protect our games on itch?
All my content is open for nothing then.
Thats sad.

Sad indeed. Despite the fact that no software can be 100% secured CopperCube's brarrier for getting source code, project files and assets back from compiled exe is way to low and dev is neighter communicating straight nor doing something to improve this. Instead we get an update to let projects compromise with someone elses exe launchers worthless without source code to trust (for the sake of experiencing any feature progress). All bad joke imho.

I think its best if everybody knows it- its important for deveopers to know (developer who spends hundreds of houers of work with his project).

I was curious how it can be done and i found it out in < minute.

Anyways your work is always your work -so nobody can take it and say its his. Everything is hackable so there is no actual need/point to use military grade security for your projects.

@Coa

You're welcome, bud. You're a hero in the CC community. You and VP are the backbone of this place.

@Chrisz

I can help you protect your assets while still offering a free demo, but I really want to see the CC community get a free blockout kit—something general, like https://assetstore.unity.com/pac... from Unity. If you're willing to create something along these lines, I'll provide you with a tool to better protect your assets, at no cost. I’m not asking you to replicate this pack exactly—just capture its essence. Create something versatile, low-poly, and abstract, so anyone can use it to build any type of 3D game. Make it simple enough that even kids can feel proud of what they create. Let me know if you're up for it.

@Robbo

Let’s get one thing straight: you can’t extract source code from a garbled executable. It’s impossible, and anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves. I hope you and JIC are satisfied with the constant pressure you’ve put on Niko. Your actions have only set this community back, driven by nothing but greed. It’s disgraceful. You want to take everything for free but turn around and charge others when it suits you. This attitude is toxic to the community, and the introduction of black-box executables is a betrayal to all of us. Shame on you. Think carefully about the consequences of your actions before you further damage what we've built here.
