Hello,

I'm currently experimenting with a different position for the mobile menu. For better operation on a smartphone, I've put it in the bottom right corner in a fixed container. That doesn't look too bad.

My problem is that when I tap it, the menu opens to the bottom right. Is there any way to make the menu open to the top left?
It's best to do it so that it covers the menu button.

Do you have a solution for this?
How do you like the idea?
I'm also open to other suggestions.

I've built the menu into this website:
http://joomla.schwarzenauer-mueh...

The page is password protected because of Google:
User: HessAdmin
PW: 123456+

The menu only appears when you make the window smaller. emoji icon_smile

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards
Bruce

No, there is no way to that with that component unfortunately. But you could maybe try to use the sidebar menu in that case?

Hello Niko,

thank you for your feedback. I also tried the sidebar menu, but it didn't help me because the menu items start at the top. I want the menu to open at the bottom of the page so that it can be used better on a smartphone. Maybe that will be possible at some point in the future?

Maybe I'll find another external solution.

Best regards
Bruce

That's an idea, I will add something like that into a future version.

Hello,

since I have removed the relevant elements from the page, here are two screenshots that show my intention and the problem.

Kind regards

This is a great idea, I wonder if I need to adjust the style sheet?

Hello,

I wanted to ask if it's now possible to adjust the opening direction of the mobile menu?

So that I can place the menu in a floating container at the bottom of the mobile view.

Best regards,
Bruce

Hello. I have noticed that Modern fullscreen mobile menu doesn't pop-up if to use fixed position (CSS).

To see it just scroll down the page and try to open Modern fullscreen mobile menu - it won't appear.

Ah that's interesting, thanks for reporting. What are you doing exactly to make it fixed? For the navmenu, add the css

position: fixed;

that's all?

I use simple container with additional CSS styles (position: fixed; z-index: 3000;).
Nav/ menu is in this container.
