Congrats @rolevix! This long time project of yours is very impressing, I like it a lot. Don't let any harsh Steam critics put you down. Steam users can be spoiled and ignorant people regarding small indie projects. Any plans to also get the update to itch.io? Best wishes. |

@hadoken Thank you for reminding me about the game update on itch.io For real, i forgot it.. And thank you for this supporting words :3 |

Because being critical is a bad thing? Look, I'm all for the removal of low-effort negative reviews such as "It's bad", or a single word by some lifeless troll, but the fact is, when you put something out there on the internet, don't expect only praise. Either grow thick skin or don't be in the scene, that's it. wrote:

Don't I know it! I and my game were torn to pieces. But I realized I didn't make the game for THEM, I made it for myself. If I don't like the game, why invest the time/money to even make it in the first place? https://www.ambiera.com/forum.ph... I eventually grew to be able to let the hate roll off my back, like nothing. And then realized, it was envy disguised as superiority. Haters gonna hate and winners gonna win. Period. |

Because being critical is a bad thing? Sounds like your personal assumption. I did not state that, I even think a broad variety of criticism shall be allowed to exist. What I have said is an encouragement not to let it get the developer down plus an attempt to justify why some criticisms sound harsh. Some people compare AAA games that are being trashed after years for little money with small indie projects full of heart and soul that can't keep up in terms of quality but can at least expect some financial support instead of giving their work away. In the end, it's up to the users to decide what they want to support. |

Just upload a demo version of updated game on my Itch,io You can download and try it for free! Link - https://storyan-team.itch.io/pai... Hope you enjoy it :3 |

I just downloaded and played the demo version for a bit. This is definitely a fun game! I'm hoping a few changes are made to help improve overall game play experience, but I'm definitely considering buying it, when I've beaten the demo version. I'll be easier, if I can configure player control and hear the music a bit louder, etc. But a game I would not have considering buying (unfortunately, due to negative press), now I will. A free demo version is definitely a good way to encourage purchasing, I believe. I'm just surprised this game was actually created in CopperCube. It feels really professional, in it's own right (definitely something I think Pangea Software might have made). I think promoting the game engine could help give CopperCube more visibility. At least I'd hope that it would. |

@luposian Thank you so much for this, i really appreciate it :) You can also check my other projects on my itch,io page, maybe you can find something interesting for you |
||||
|
@luposian Also, if you want to buy a full version, i will very glad if you buy actually a Steam-version, cause it have more gameplay features, like an achievments and "Remote Play Together". And it will help to promote game and CopperCube engine on bigger place. |

The game is very cool, I loved the graphics and mechanics, congratulations! Good luck! |

And it will help to promote game and CopperCube engine on bigger place. I used to have Lugaru for Steam on my laptop and Steam affected my PC/Windows negatively, so I uninstalled it. That's why I prefer Itch.io. Nothing "installed" on my computer to download/play games. I'm not a fan of "loaders" or "front ends", etc. Why can't a program/game simply stand on it's own? |
||||
|
@luposian Well, that's pretty fair |

Now you can buy this game and more with good discount, that ends in 10 hours. On my itch.io - https://storyan-team.itch.io/pai... |
