It seems that we are near to getting an update for Coppercube, so I would like to request some of the features. 1. Multi-Nodes, drag and drop in Scenegraph Explorer. For easier parenting. 2. Run the editor in the debug mode itself. 3. Ability to create custom windows in the editor for plugins. Use of event systems in the editor. 4. More property types for scripted extension e.g. Dropdowns for better toggling. 5. API for translating 3D nodes to the 2D position on the Screen. I know there exists a function for that but it renders objects at a far distance. Maybe provide an option to control the Z-offset or Z-Rendering control. 6. Layer system for rendering, To create a folder as a layer and set its index for rendering, let's say if it has 0 index then all the content in that layer will render first, then if there exists another layer let's say index 1 then they will render on top of the layer with index 0, this will allow us to merge things and create levels more efficiently and will open up possibilities for 2D games. For now, that's what I think is suited for an update, otherwise, many features can be added to the engine but it is not ethical to request for them all. |

there will no longer be a new version of cc !!!!! The future of cc is a vaporware...like Niko!!! |

Can someone please, PLEASE, P L E A S E remove guest accounts? Too many people can snipe and complain about people (including the very developer of all the stuff on this site, Nico!) with no consequence. Some of it could discourage other developers and even Nico himself, if it gets bad enough. That should not be allowed. |

Yeah, I also think that only registered names should be allowed. Anybody can act as an imposter on the forums and attacks post. We are definitely going to get an update. @unregistered guest, it is you whose brain is in vaporware and is not getting any update. |

Some of them are possible to do with the C++ source, but some requires editor part to be updated. Thanks for requesting though. |

wrote: luposian ==> consequence for complain Hmmmmm... !!! you live in a dictatorship country ? Everyone should be unafraid to be held accountable for what they say and to whom. That's common human decency. Hiding behind a "guest" account and railing against an individual, is cowardly. Far too many do it (or maybe the same individual, as no one can really know) and it really should stop. Copying other's names (as was once done to me) should not be allowed/possible. This is not about a "dictatorship", but common human decency and accountability. Registering my name insures that no one else can usurp my name legitimately. If they try to, it's shown to be a fraud, as it's titled as a "guest" account, not "registered" and why would I use a "guest" account when I'm already registered? |

I can understand the fear, but some people just don't like to register themseld if you can post your query without sharing your e-mail, I would go with it. There is nothing wrong in using guest accounts, but yeah we also can't ignore the fact that most of the people are abusing the usage of guest accounts. |

There is nothing wrong in using guest accounts, but yeah we also can't ignore the fact that most of the people are abusing the usage of guest accounts. Sometimes you can't have your cake and eat it, too. I'd suggest that all Guest accounts can post only in Guest forums. Registered forums are where only Registered accounts can post. And Registered accounts can, obviously, post in Guests forums. There has to be a way to limit abuse. If you're so afraid to let people know your Email address (and I assume it's only the admin/moderator(s) of the Forums that can see it anyways), then you probably shouldn't even be on the Internet. There is wisdom and then there is paranoia. Paranoia says "Anything I put out on the Internet could come and get me eventually!" Wisdom says, "What are the odds that my information/data is going to be abused on this website?" Now, if you live in an oppressive country, maybe you're afraid that any personal information could be used to track you, to whatever ends. In that case, if I were in that situation, I'd request that Guest accounts could have their own "safe space" to share on. It's a tough row to hoe. But I'm just tired of people logging in as "Guest/Guest" and then tearing down whomever or whatever. That kind of behavior should be stopped or mitigated. |
