It's there when you click the large area of the contact form, below "thanksText" in the property window. |

There is no "thanks Text" in property window. Could someone please provide a step-by-step guide for this form feature, similar to the one for the basic form in Help index? This should answer many questions and make it easy to implement anti-spam feature for forms. |

Goto this page: https://www.ambiera.com/rocketca... Click the Download button to download the component. Double-click the file - it then gets installed in RocketCake. In RocketCake, there is now a new component available on the right side, when you scroll down, named "Contact form with Anti-Spam". Click it, and put it onto your page. Select the outer area of the component. Look into the property window. There, you have the entries "email". "thanksText" and "antiSpamAnswer". Change them according to your desire. |

Thanks, Eric. Inserting the "free" form addition works using your instruction. I was using the old insert Form and did not see the Insert to the right in menu. Unfortunately, the "free" Contact Form Component does not permit inserting the necessary php code for forwarding the email when using the "free" Rocketcake v5.4 that I am testing with. I have a paid v4.8 but have not tried it there, since the new website I am creating uses v5.4. I wonder if this "free" form can be modified to accept inserting php code when using a "free" version of RC such as what I described? |

Well, I must be unlucky because the amount of spam coming through my contact form is increasing. I'll change the challenge question to see if that helps anything. Nowadays, just asking a simple anti-spam question will no longer be enough to deal with spam. A lot more is needed now. What works well for me is a honey pot. But I also use a professional contact form, which has a lot more anti-spam measures. I would strongly advise against using such spam-prone contact forms anyway. If spam is constantly sent via the form, you can quickly get into trouble with your email provider or even your provider. |
