Greetings All! I have enjoyed my time with the CopperCube engine and visiting with all you good folks here on the forum... but there comes a time for other endeavors. So, I bid you all a fond Goodbye and good luck as you strive to create your dreams... A special note to @robo - Thanks for all the help and advice you gave me. Your replies and suggestions made my effects better that I had hoped... And too @Zoo - If you still read this forum, I think a lot of the negative attitudes aimed at you were not called for... after all, you really did contribute a lot to the development of CC early on. I always remembered the advice you gave me as I was building games... "Play it though yourself and see if it's fun or not. If you don't think so, nobody else will either." Well, Good Luck and Good Games to you all... https://wmgwgames.itch.io/a-fare... |

Farewell buddy, wish you all the very best for the future. Maybe one day you might come back to this engine and can remember the good old memories you had with this engine :) Thanks for being a part of this little community :) Good Luck ! |

@count2rfeit, whatever reasons you may have to part with this software, as others read the newspaper, perhaps it is still worth taking a look at the forum from time to time in the future, out of curiosity about the further development of CopperCube or at least as a reminiscence? Thanks for the itch.io goodbye project. Unfortunately I noticed that its text does not get displayed right because of incorrect system font settings. That's the reason I came up with my Bitmap Font Toolkit to solve the issue and others might use it to avoid text displaying problems with their projects: https://hadoken-records.itch.io/... All the best for you. |

Well, I'm sure glad I'm happy as a lark with CopperCube, making my game. Kinda surprised no one has bought Stage 2, but... oh, well... I'm in this for myself primarily. Realizing a dream and all that. Others can like it or hate it. Doesn't/won't change the outcome. All three stages will be created and the game WILL be finished, sooner or later. Maybe when I've recorded a video of all three stages and edited it all to show snippets of the adventurous progress, THEN people will be interested. Dunno. Like Count2rfeit said: "Play it though yourself and see if it's fun or not. If you don't think so, nobody else will either." Maybe my idea of "fun" isn't the same as others... but if we don't create games WE want to play, why create them at all? |
