https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=... I was talking about the Unity Runtime Fee Drama from the spyware/telemetry implementation perspective as opposed to the more common runtime fee discussions that’s currently going on. |

I think that Unity decided to charge for game installations, to force someone to enter into some virtual currency that they are going to create so that someone has the resources to pay this charge. |

Very good video Bracer! I like so much your video "Realistic Graphics in CopperCube Game Engine WebGL"! I think Coppercube can be a great alternative for Unity, because Coppercube has so much good thing like good performance, light, easy to develop and so far! |

Hmm why can I not post here. It posts my comment, but then it doesn't show up. |

I still can't post that comment. I said something about unity. I have no idea why it's not posted, or censored or whatever (no "appears to be spam" message) Maybe because there was the word "shareholder" ? |

Ok, when you use the word i-d-i-o-t (without dashes), the post is silently flushed down the sink, rather than posted. As if there were no i-d-i-o-t-s in this world, or we are not permitted to mention them. Maybe Niko gets some funding from the Knigge Foundation, other than that I have no idea wtf is going on here. But it's wasting my time. |

@bracer, I always love your work man! Thanks for showing your love for CopperCube and mentioning it in your video. :) |

LOL !!! compare unity to coppercube, this shows a real ignorance of real-time 3D development...Silly. |
||||
|
@Guest, we are not comparing Unity to CopperCube, but instead the license of Unity with Coppercube license. The video was all about license not about comparison between game engine's features and functionality. Go grab some mind before trolling @Zoo. |

Thank you andgameplay, I am glad that baking video helped you, thanks for the company :-) I really love how easy CopperCube is to pick up, the original idea of Coppercube is well executed. I agree with you Dieter, I totally think Coppercube should be funded because so far, it has been just the strength of one man. just_in_case, my love for Coppercube is easily shadowed by yours, your contribution is off the chart ! |

One YouTube channel in particular that, in my opinion has practically “declared war” on Unity's new fee structure, is none other than: “Game From Scratch” (GFS)! Mike, the owner of the YouTube GFS channel, has already uploaded about 12 videos so far on just this subject alone, and probably more are coming on the way. I can only imagine other YouTube game dev channels doing the same thing, bringing the bad publicity hurt back at Unity. Yep, one big ass can of worms has been opened by Unity's greed for cash. https://www.youtube.com/@gamefro... |

But it's wasting my time. In a world where people deem it appropriate to be mean to other people, such word blacklists become necessary. I only wish I knew what the unacceptable words were, so I don't go to the effort to write a lengthy reply and end up having it be blocked or not posted or whatever. But demeaning Niko for it, is not the best way to stay around. This coming from someone (me) who was blocked/banned from a Facebook group simply for saying that vulgarity shouldn't be used... [sigh]. |
