wrote: You mean, collision is still there? If you have physics enabled for game, then there must be a command to update physics geometry or something like that. If you don't, then try to disable the collision of object with "ccbSetSceneNodeProperty". That *might* work. Yup. Collision never goes away. Once it's enabled on the mesh, it's there... forever. I've tried deleting the node, scaling the node down to the tinest size, moving the node elsewhere... nothing works. The invisible "presence" of the collision detection is always there, so I'm climbing into and out of an invisible device... always! However, proximity detection is NOT functional (when enabled), if the mesh is invisible. But doesn't/shouldn't EVERYTHING associated with a mesh cease to function when you DELETE the node/mesh? Doesn 't "delete node" make that item (and anything enabled with it) literally "not there" anymore? That's what I can't understand. |

@Luposian - Dekon_17 just answered your question in his previous comment. |

wrote: @Luposian - Dekon_17 just answered your question in his previous comment. Yeah, I simply wasn't visualizing it properly. I spoke with Just_In_Case and when he realized what I was saying, he explained what I needed to do and turning off the physics engine and making it "collision only", solved my problem. Needless to say, I'm almost done with Stage 2. Just need to make a few more tweaks, one last subtitle, and then get spoken dialog for it (about $10 or so). But Stage 3 is gonna take awhile (i.e. an unknown amount of time)... because that's where I need to pay Kam to do more animations for Luposian (jump, kick, crouch, punch, and up/down claw slash! Wondering what he's gonna need all that for? Heh! Just one wily but deadly opponent... eh, you'll see eventually) and I haven't got money to do that right now, unfortunately. Oh, well... patience is a virtue! ![]() |

It's very easy to add/bind animations to a character (for free) with mixamo. Unless he's manually animating the rig, don't let him charge too much for adding extra animations. |

So, you wanted a window in a house? Believe it or not, I've done something... I added a whole WINDOW in the room on the second floor! Seriously though, check the file (I updated the file instead of making another one, so, link is the same), that's what you've meant about the window, luposian? |

Seriously though, check the file (I updated the file instead of making another one, so, link is the same), that's what you've meant about the window, luposian? The Russian (Cyrillic?) writing always throws me (I only speak/write English)... but, thankfully, there's a universial "download" symbol I recognize. I don't see a button to switch it to English, but... eh, what'ere. :-D The view is quite spectacular, wouldn't you agree? |

Wait, is there no English language in this disk thing? Woah, okay, guess I'll better switch to Google Drive for this forum then, no one even mentioned that thing before. |

I'm referring to the download link you originally posted on the 1st page. It goes to a download page with a bunch of Russian/Cyrillic writing. I can navigate it, but I prefer English, just so I don't have to struggle figuring out what to click on. Does that download page actually have a button/link to change language? I couldn't figure it out, if there was. Usually most sites have a flag symbol or something (in this case, it would likely be a Russian flag or something (for the current language selected)... or maybe it would show a British flag (for English) or something, for alternative languages. But I saw nothing like that. Like I said, the universal "download" symbol is what clued me in on what button to click on, thankfully. ![]() |

Much ado about nothing. |

You have a real sense of entitlement asking for everyone else to do everything for you. Then you go out of your way insulting people. It's ridiculous. Also, PLEASE work on the visuals of this thing you're working on. It's a total eyesore with zero care put into it. |

You afraid of being held accountable for what you say to others? I think you must be mistaking me for someone else. Wherein do (or have) I ever insult(ed) anyone? Please show me. There is only one Luposian here. That's me. So, no chance of mistaking me for someone else, I'm happy to say. And work on the visuals of this eyesore, you say? If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black! Insult people much? And, please, go forth and show me what YOU'VE done, before calling what I'M working on an eyesore. Hmm? Envy parades itself self-righteously. I am not asking nor expecting everyone to do everything for me. I am asking for help where I need it, when I need it. Entitlement is believing you are OWED something by others, that you have not earned or worked for, yourself. If I had an "Entitlement Mindset", as I call it, I'd be whining and complaining about how no one is coding/creating everything for me, and they SHOULD. But I have not once done that. I have offered to pay people here and elsewhere (plus invested HUNDREDS of dollar to make my character a 3D model, animate him, and have some earlier parts of the game coded for me). Entitled people don't pay for stuff... they DEMAND it for FREE. Why? Because they have an "entitlement mindset". Show me where I have EVER demanded anyone here do stuff for me for free? I'll strike up the Jeopardy Theme while we wait... ![]() |
