What I'm currently doing, is to write little Mini-Games to prop up the webpages of certain local businesses. This is a mostly untapped market niche. In this case it's a Restaurant that's located in an old cellar. So I made a small action adventure, with secret shafts and riddles to be solved. |

Looks pretty good, Those are baked shadows right? Hope people will enjoy the game while in the restaurant. It will be better if the game shows up in th C-portal of restaurant Wifi network if they have any. |

Good idea, thanks. Yet, the game is meant to lure the people to the restaurant in the first place. You encourage people to revisit the web page of the business (maybe by newsletter), there they play the game and the end bonus will be some sort of perk, a q-code for a free 3rd beer maybe, a lottery ticket or some other gift that makes people actually visit the restaurant. |

So as this Minigame is getting close to completion, I wanna say thanks to you guys, some of you helped me a lot, so I gave credit. Pls forgive me if I forgot somebody. Here you see a door that opens always away from player, opens on click (if not locked, or the respective key was picked up) and closes automatically after a few secs, plays squeaky open and close noise, and a bit of a slam when closing, and a locked doorknob sound when locked: This is the entrance to the final "level". The gate must be unlocked by this "simon" game: it plays a sequence of sounds, the player has to repeat it, each time one more sound, up to 7 by now, to trigger the gate to move and open up. Was a bit tricky to implement simon in parallel, so it can be continued at any time, while playing the 3D game. There's also a small bug that causes simon to sometimes become active for no obvious reason whatsoever- spooky stuff, so I let it in there ^^ Game starts here, player has to puck up cups etc and store them near the sink. Under the last cup he finds a coin. Putting the coin into the snack machine (what's it doing there anyway? Very sus.) reveals a secret corridor. There the musing fades from funny bossa nova to haunted horror ^^ While the game logic is mostly complete, I'm aware of the graphics being still a bit empty, so I may add some more props, just to break the lines. But even then, I will claim this to be "retro 3D", because it really is ^^ Other than that I'm really happy about the current state, that includes a fully operational death star - no wait, fully operational "spatial 3D audio engine" for CC webgl, and it has a useable fall off feature, unlike many others, where you would hear a camp fire across the entire galaxy, as well as the BG music cross-fading thing for music themes for different places. This was done for some friends who run a restaurant, and I most likely will post a link to the game, once it is released officially. |

Thanks Chris ! |

screenshots looking good! |

Thanks, o139! As a matter of fact, I could use some beta testers. https://jfkeo1010etc.itch.io/gwoelb-game-test-1 password abc Notice the 3D sound, esp. at the torch in the little room with credits. Wasn't that missing in CC webGl? |

BTW, in regards to the above link to the game, it would be particularly useful if somebody could test it on a mobile with touchscreen. |

I will leave my feedback later. |

Thanks, Guest, not really overwhelming, the community support here. Maybe it's just me. |

Good morning Dieter. A nice a smooth game. All works fine but after the last "level" i didn't know how to come out. I read the cast poster and didn't know what to do now. I like the downstairs leveling very much. thumbs up. |

Nice game and concept sir, like the idea very very much, Now I am thinking to the same for a hospital here, as you know patients have to wait a lot in the lobby even with an appointment. So it will be good if I can just put a barcode link in a poster and post it in hospital walls so that they can enjoy the game or can have a virtual 3d tour of the hospital. |

Works very well in webgl, great! |

Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. Just in case it isn't clear, it contains several mini-levels, and at the end there's a placeholder for now, that's the spinning cube. First bring the cups and the ashtray to the sink. You will find a coin. Put the coin into the snack machine and thereby open the secret corridor. Find the key to unlock door 2, then go down the starways There you'll find a locked gate besides a "simon" game. Simon plays a sequence of sounds. You have to repeat it, by clicking the colored blocks. At some point the gate opens. In this room you have to use the moving platforms to reach the spinning cube. Really just a mini game, and one in Retro 3D. |
