Hi there, I've just updated irrFuscator to the latest version, but I'm now getting the following error when trying to enter my registration code, having bought a license on 11/11/2008: Registering your entered license code... Ambiera irrfuscator v2.1.2, (c) 2008-2009 Nikolaus Gebhardt, Ambiera e.U. Error: Invalid registration code. Please ensure you entered the correct license key for this software version and that you entered the name and company exactly as you did when purchasing the license. Do I now need to buy a new license? I did e-mail you about this directly a while back, but the reply came back with a virus warning and I was unable to read the e-mail at all! I don't mind buying a new license if necessary, but thought I'd check in case I was spending money that I didn't need to. Cheers, Mike. |

Hi, I received your mail and answered to it, maybe you should simply disable your virus scanner since that mail didn't contain any evil content :) The last release of irrfuscator 1 was about two years ago, since then there is now irrFuscator 2 which was nearly a complete rewrite. Either you need to use an old version of irrFuscator 1 with your license code (not recommended if you are using binary obfuscation as well sicne Adobe changed the format a bit), or upgrade to irrFuscator 2, you need to purchase it newly then. |

Thanks for the reply Niko. :) Here's the reply I got from Google about the e-mail you sent me: The message "AW: irrfuscator - Full Version Order Information" from Nikolaus Gebhardt (niko@ambiera.com) contained a virus or a suspicious attachment. It was therefore not fetched from your account mike@megadev.co.uk and has been left on the server. If you wish to write to Nikolaus, just click reply and send Nikolaus a message. Thank you, The Google Mail Team Weird eh? I've never seen that before! Anyway, I'll go ahead and buy version 2 - great bit of software by the way. :) Cheers, Mike. |
