When loading a large detailed image in the editor it becomes somewhat blurry. It remains the same when the page is uploaded to the webserver. The image itself is OK and text OK. When uploaded I cannot read the text anymore. The image size is approx. 1200 x 700 pixels. I tried with png, tif, jpb and bmp without any difference. I tried images from different sources, like paint and snagit, but again no difference. What could cause the big difference between the original image quality and the web quality? Regards, Gerrit |

When the image gets resized by the browser by a tiny bit, it can get blurry sometimes. I prevent this by setting a minimal width for the image, this helps. But depends on your specific case. |

Even with image size at 100% it's pretty bad. In my other homebrew webeditor the images are shown OK, and the website is OK too, so it must be something with RC. What else can I check? Regards, Gerrit |

I remember now that when inserting the first image I got the comment on screen that the image was very large and I accepted to reduce the size. Apparently "something" remembers this setting and lowers the quality for all images on that particular page. How can I reset this? Removing the images and inserting them again didn't help. What can I do? Regards, Gerrit |

If you checked the "don't ask again" option, you can just close RocketCake and start it again. Then add your image again and it will ask again. |

Hi Niko, Got it solved now by closing RC and insert the image again. Perfect! Regards, Gerrit |
