I've a website built in Rocketcake previews correctly. When published to local disk - some images, image galleries and drop down lists from the navigation bar do not appear.

Has anyone experienced this or knows of a solution? I've tried adding in the images again, but this does not work

Do you get an error message? In your browser, click CTRL + SHIFT + I and click "Console". Is there some error printed there? Any more details?
Alternatively, you can also send me the .rcd file and I'll have a close look at it (see support -> contact) on this page.

That's strange because technically there is no difference between Preview und Publish.
Preview stores the output to a temp folder in your AppData (and opens the browser).
Publish stores the output to a folder which you yourself have specified before.
Are you sure ...
- you did not make changes between Preview and Publish?
- you clicked Save before Preview and Publish?
- you clicked "Yes to All" when you published?

Since images, galleries and menu are affected I guess the /rc_images/ folder is corrupted or not up to date. That's the place where images, gallery thumbs and scripts are stored. Just publish once more, select "Yes to All", and check the output.

Thanks both - still no joy!

"Do you get an error message? In your browser, click CTRL + SHIFT + I and click "Console". Is there some error printed there? Any more details?"

No error message is given at all

Are you sure ...
- you did not make changes between Preview and Publish?

Thanks for the suggestion - I have tried all of those you listed but unfortunately nothing has worked

Without seeing anything, we can just guess. Send me the .rcd or some screenshots or more, and I can probably help you better.

Well, if you're on a mac there might be a difference between Preview and Publish. Preview shows the code as it is intended but loading it down on the mac the 'smart quotes' feature of OS will change the quotes when enabled. Which is not smart in this case as it might help in writing but not in coding. You can disable it in: System Preferences > Keyboard > Text > and uncheck 'use smart quotes and dashes'
