I create an e-mail link using hyperlink, but when I publish, the font and size of the font changes. Not able to find anything in styes to fix this. The email link is within a sentence and not in a container of its own, if that makes any difference.

Mark and right-click the hyperlink. Select Edit Hyperlink. Click on the tab Style. Apparently there is something specified which you don't want.

It could be related to your browser's cache not reloading an updated CSS file generated by Rocketcake. To make sure to reload everything press Shift+F5 in the browser you use for testing.
