Thank you both! I've updated the last version with a cutscene and some extras - The finished game will have 3 parts - Part 1- (done) Avoid the Predators and find the Marines. Part 2- (done) Find the Temple and Hatch the Alien egg. Part 3- (not done yet) find the helicopter and escape. You can test now by tapping "1" to warp to the temple with all 5 Marines. Open the door and enter the temple, then stand near the egg. Let me know if there are any issues so far, I fixed quite a few bugs and think it's working now with no problems (other than part 3 not being finished yet). I'll be adding the RADAR system next too - the HUD will change colour to indicate the location of the Predators. |

Quick update - added an animated RADAR system (thanks COA for the suggestion). To cheat, press "c"... then press "1": to warp to temple or "2" to toggle enemies on/off. *Note enemies must be enabled once inside the Temple - otherwise the face-hugger wont hatch. Animation from footagecrate - RADAR made with no coding, please ask if you want to know how I made it (it's fairly complex). I'll be adding sounds for it, now it's all working. Let me know if there are any problems or suggestions. Will be adding the parabolic bullets next (thanks Just_in_case for the suggestion). |
