If you follow the video till the end result, then possibly just needs higher ambient lighting of like 60 so as not so dark and then see if you like it...

I only recently worked some extra parts of this out...it should be in the user manual actually but isnt. Almost nothing of the irrlicht settings is mentioned in the user manual - Niko should update this.
