Just a random thought but Niko could make more advanced actions/behaviours or shaders in the paid version to encourage users buy it.

Another thing to consider is making the engine full open source and having a Github page for contributors. It seem to be the way for many free game engines rightnow.

Good idea about the open source I think as a lot of old game engines are doing this to allow user improvements instead of letting the engine die a slow death...its kept alive a lot longer that way.

Instead Niko could charge for specific behaviors and improvements instead and other add on ways...would be better for everyone I think...

I just noticed that my upper forum contribution does not display as intended as I wanted to show a big "thumps up" in ASCII art, which did properly show in the entry's preview. Unfortunately now it doesn't work here for some strange reason?! So my apologies for taking up so much unused space here. (Vazahat you could take the entry out if you wish). Emojis nowadays often give the same trouble in in the CC forum, image posting has not improved eighter in my opinion. Better keep plain and simply with our articulations...

Nevertheless, the perspective of a free and open source program (open for user developer contributions) and community sounds very promising for CC's future, what do you others think about it?

Have a nice day.
