Thanks Edwin and Coa

I'm glad you like it so far. Yes, they will all be uniquely sounding pianos - classic, grand, digital, analogue, plectrum, electric, vinyl, bell etc.

I'm making a real-life digital-piano (using a raspberry pi as a "sampler-box") - so I had already done all the recording of the piano sounds in wav format - I've decided to convert them to ogg and put them into this little ccb project to share here.

To keep it simple (and a manageable file-size) there will only be 25 keys (per piano) in the ccb, project, rather than using all 88 keys with multiple velocity layers (which would be around 70GB in size for all the sounds, lol).

Hopefully they will be fun for people to play and the tab on the side may be helpful in learning to play notes/chords/riffs.

It's almost finished, just need to add all the sounds as 3D nodes and a cube for each one with some actions attached - "hopefully" will be finished in a few days.

Thank you andgameplay! Glad you like it - yes kinda like a piano simulator.

It's very nearly finished now - the z, s, x, and d keys now work on each piano - so I think it will probably be finished tomorrow.

I'm planning to try selling the final version for pocket-money on itch.io but I'll place a link here for Coppercube users to get it for free.

So it's pretty much finished - it's all working properly, just a few small chages I have planned for performance.

If people wouldn't mind testing it, have any suggestions or can find any bugs I would appreciate it.

I laid the keys out so it's easy to play on a computer keyboard - you can play chords by pressing finger-block-patterns with the same spacing (for example) "I,Y,V", "U,T,C," "Y,R,X,", "T,E,Z" or "Q,Z,C", "W,X,V", "E,C,B", "R,V,N", "T,B,M".

These are complex chords on a piano but all the same basic finger-shape on the computer keyboard. Press the keys together or one after another and you should start to get some really nice sounds from it.

Let me know what you think - any bugs or performance issues - and of course, any suggestions are welcome.

*It's free for now but I plan to sell it at at later date - once it's all working properly (not sure what price to set on itch.io - probably the minimum price possible).

Thank you!

I played, this is amazing, good work VP!

I liked the great variety of pianos, very realistic, a very good piano simulator!

You can sell this project in the itchio!!!

Now I'm working in a Cartoon racing game, I want to sell the project too, I want to publish 2 versions, A free and other complete paid version with all tracks and cars! You could publish two versions of your piano simulator, one free with just one style of piano and a complete paid version with all pianos!

Good work!

Thanks COA and AndGamePlay

I'm really pleased you both like it.
That's a great idea - I'll make two versions as you suggested.

Thanks for the feedback and advice!

Oh, by the way - I've made it a paid app on itchio. The demo version only has one piano instead of all 11 - so here's the full version, completely free for Coppercube users....

*Be sure to use the link here for the full version for free, rather than the single piano demo on itch.io.
