Is it possible to have rc use notepad ++ to edit code? This gives a great ease of use when coding in php and/or javascript. At the moment it is done by copy paste between rc code editor and notepad ++.

How much code are you using in RocketCake? Usually you don't use that much.

600+ lines of js and about 200 lines of php, there is more php in external files for producing ajax.

Maybe I need to consider just hand crafting the site which would be a shame as I really like rc for doing all the hard work.

Yes, that is what i'm doing at the moment. what i was hoping for is the internal featureless code editor be replaced by notepad++ with the likes of intellisense, indentation and numerous other features.

It looks like the solution is to use an external js file pulling that in in Rocket Cake in a single line then using document to run it.

This way I can keep using the excellent rc editor and add some animation.
