For example, there are 5-10 different resources/goods in the game. You can trade those on each of the planets. Prices vary from planet to planet. So basically, you can buy in one place and sell with profit in another. Or you can make it even more advanced. Lets say each planet has some amount of resources in stock. Every resource is mined and consumed on each planet with different rate. Amount resources which are mined more than consumed becomes excessive, so it price drops, which makes it profitable to buy and deliver somewhere there the resource is lacking. If some resource is lacking, it's the opposite - its price raises and so on. You can also add some random events, like there is miners strike on one of the planets, which stops resources production, so you can use that situation to profit. With the money you make, you can upgrade your ship - make it faster or increase the amount of cargo it can hold. |

thanks for the feedback! okeoke yes i thought about that when i started making the game but made it more simple with just one substance called life mineral with everchanging price that can be traded between planets .. a substance that has multi use. :) its also possible to upgrade the warp speed of the spacecraft |
