It's impossible to make a 10 minute game with CC in 3 days!

@Bulletchain, it is possible to create a game with hours of gameplay within 3 days, you cna just creates endless games like flappybird, or subway surfers so you do get more than 10minutes of gameplay...

even if you don't want to create endless games then still if you use online assets and don't create them by yourself all you need is setup a good story and create missions that requires traveling and searching around the map to create more than 10+ minutes gameplay.

it is an understatement if you say it is not possible but It would be wiser if join other gamejam's that has a lot of submission to caught attraction of other devs towards the Coppercube game engine.

Awesome! I'd like to enter and making a game for the Jam - 3 days is tight for me, but I reckon I could probably make a basic code-free game (with endless/play-for-score game-play), using commercial assets and mixamo.

It will be fun to try - and as you say, a really good way of promoting Copppercube to other Devs/Non-coders.

I'll grab some assets today and start making it tomorrow.

I'm thinking "Bank-Panic" - wanted to do this before but never got round to it, very simply (but fun) game...

Ain't three days, we have a whole month (15AUG-15SEP)

I joined too, although the no-demos policy it's a bit weird... everything is demos innit XD we'll see what comes out!

Ah, nice one - a month is much better!

Yeah, everything I make is a demo, I've never actually completed making a full game yet, lol.

I reckon the deadline will motivate me to make a complete game this time but I'm still gonna try for 3 days now I've set my mind to it - if it's not finished by then, I'll still have a large time-buffer left.

Is there any prize or award for the winners of the jam?

There seem to be 2 Categories but I don't know why there is a second category for the "best developer of the engine". As there is only one developer of the engine @Niko, I am assuming that it's just a translation mistake, you were probably trying to write "best developer of the game".

I just hope that this time you make it a worthy game jam for the community, I wish all the very best to the members who are going to join the JAM, hope you guys have a great time developing a game or 2 for the JAM.

Friends, we have news! The award will be a consultation with a developer, so that their game enters the game market, and with a publication that, published on Steam and other platforms.

Thanks, just in case! And really what I meant is the best game developer made at coppercube, I think it was a translation error.

@b3studio what is the name of the consulting developer? is he a famous gamedev? or a company?

will the winner be able to go one on one chat or live with the consulting developer ?

I am not that into publishing games to steam, or any other platforms as it won't be a hard job but I would think about joining the jam If the consulting developer is a well known dev in the industry.

if you can provide more details regarding that developer?
