Hello guys! I published a new game on itchio: Magic land! Magic land is a simple game about collecting items and killing monsters to score. I used the Wizard game as inspiration, produced by dev Coa here on the forum! I'm learning a lot with the creation of these games, I'm looking to make simple games and always looking to insert new ideas and features! Here's the link to the game, thank you very much! https://andgameplay.itch.io/magi... |

Hi andgameplay I played the game and its a very nice rpg in my opinion I most liked the Hud, environment, gameplay and the ability to change weapon i also like the monsters the environment looks really medieval and nice i got a suggestion for quest .. kill 10 monsters to get some score but not really needed since you get score for them anyway but could be fun i have another improve suggestion now its kind of hard seeing which way im going with the compass because the waypoint name does not show .. the N S E W I will be playing it again to see how much i can score I enjoy playing the game nice landscape to explore and fun monsters to eliminate edit: the tune is really nice also very fitting |

Not bad...nice open world.. I would like to enter the insides of the buildings if possible - at least the Castle and Church.. For health restore I would make the player gather the 3 potions and then put them in the Couldron before getting free health recovery...more interesting that way. The bow was cool but I like to see the arrow flying through the air... and 1-3 shots at most to kill the monsters -seemed to take like 5 or so.. Not bad at all - with some more assets and maybe make use of LOD's if the performance suffers at all... I liked it. |

I think I'm the first one to play your game. I browsed all your games and found it before you posted this post. But when I download and play.... Maybe my computer is too junk, and the monitor is directly blue |

I would like to see the arrows shooting too and tbh I would also like an option for turning off the realtime shadows, I am not a fan of CC inbuilt shadows. Didn't have enough time to play it for long, but I enjoyed it. |

Really thanks just_in_case and thanks for the tips! Yes, I'm thinking in use another program to make shadows in the models and stamp in the texture with better quality! |

a very nice game to enjoy! i second the suggestion by justincase by adding the option to turn off dynamic shadows.. they take a lot of resources |
||||
|
Thanks coa! Yes, my idea is to bake the shadows in the Blender, is very easy for to do! In this way, I can turn off the shadows and improve a lot the performance of the games! |

quote In this way, I can turn off the shadows and improve a lot the performance of the games! I would have the option to turn on/off dynamic shadows with a key in the game not remove them |
