Awesome, @robo, it works really well. Glad that you managed to adapt the code according to your need. I also found HLSL to be easier than GLSL. Also, I believe Coppercube also supports CG for both DirectX and OpenGL, but it is not in the documentation, as Irrlicht also supports CG for both openGL and DirectX. |

For an old model, it looks pretty nice. However, if you need something new, I think it's better to invest in new models available on the market. I suggest you check the led flashlights https://www.amazon.com/Vont-Flashlight-Flashlights-Water-Resistant-Accessories/dp/B089T8HDBV on amazon, especially this one. It comes in a pack of two, even better if you ask me. Moreover, their battery life it's up to nine hours which is incredible, and having two unities, you have enough power all day long. Not to forget, it has the power to light up an entire road or mountain on the darkest of nights, so you can take it anywhere if you don't want to get lost. |

Yes, the model and gave away was not something I am using in my game - was just for testing purposes only. I keep all the best stuff for the game I am making...and have accumulated quite a bit of cool models... |

Note, Niko mentioned to me after my compaints that he will add functionality to allow Spot lights to change direction to match the parent object rotation this year (at least thats what I got from his email). Hope it shows up soon and so with this I promised never to ask him for anything else again....maybe you guys can ask him instead for stuff from now on... ps - Please check with him he is fixing the resetting plants sway effect from the wind when you change the setting during runtime plus get rid of the auto open editor folders and reset to the top on every single change (very annoying). |
