Remember to join the discord to get more info and participate! Last year we had an incredible turnout, so if we do even half as good this year it'll still be a great set. Hope to see you there. |

Originally written in the UCC Discord Server: Here is the new list of categories for the 2022 Coppercube Community Awards Best Art Design Best Gameplay Best Sound Design Best Original Soundtrack Best Story Best Plugin VIP Developer VIP Audio Producer VIP Writer VIP Content Creator The Labour of Love award Most anticipated game Game of the Year And a few explanations about them. Best Original Soundtrack is NOT the same as Best Sound Design. Soundtrack includes any/all music. Sound Design includes ambiance, sound effects, and voice acting. Best Plugin can include anything from an engine plugin to a behavior/action plugin, but it must be made or updated sometime this year. VIP Content Creator will go to the nomiation that produces the best external content for the community. This can be youtube, twitch, or any external third-party area where you create content about the engine. *Content does not include games created in engine, there are already categories for those. The Labour of Love award will go to the game that sees the best community support this year. Games that put out updates and have paid great attention to their communities. These games do not have to be created this year, but DO have to be updated sometime this year. Most anticipated game is exactly that. The game that you anticipate the most in the coming years. The official nomination period will begin in September, and the awards will be held at the exact same time as last year on December 5th. Hopefully the turnout this year is just as good or better than last year. |
