I'm uncertain if Coppercube will beat this advanced mechanism. |

You can just use a 3rd party tool to convert your coppercube game (in fact, any 3D game) to VR - even with headtracking... VorpX (converts 3D output to VR) Tridef (same) SuperDepth3D/reshade (side-by-side psuedo VR) MyDreamVR/SwiftVR (side-by-side psuedo VR) TrinusVR (playstationVR headtracking for coppercube) I was using Vorpx with TrinusVR (with a playstation4 headset on PC) - but I also liked using reshades psuedoVR (which can do a decent job of full VR obviously without headtracking). You can also make use of google-cardboard or red/cyan 3D-glasses (from ebay etc) with various post-process plugins in reshade. Also check out the various VR theatre softwares which can often be injected into games to enable output as pseudo 3D (side-by-side). Depending on your system, you will obviously see a performance hit in frame-rate. In this case, you can halve the output resolution for each eye, and disable any secondary display output, to get the frame-rate back up. |
