My first try at creating an interactive WebGL scene, need your opinions

Here's another of one of my building models I did with Sketchup and converted to WebGL using Coppercube. With that said, I decided this time around to add some interactivity like opening doors on clicking them. I also created a working elevator that serves 5 floors.

The thing with the elevator, I wanted to use the method that forum member "tim12345" showed me, but his particular way proved a bit too difficult for me to understand and implement, especially on an elevator system that goes up to 5 floors.

I just don't understand JavaScript variables all that well enough. So what I did was I created a rather little clever two camera trick that with a few other different implementations, which when it is all tied carefully together, it creates in my opinion a rather good and convincing elevator system.

It might not be as good as the one tim12345 did, but I think it comes in a close second place to it. Well, here's the link to the WebGl page if you want to check it out:

Since I used Sketchup Make to create the building model, I also posted the particular method I used on creating the model in the official Sketchup forum site:

If any of you here like my Coppercube WebGL scene and would like to download and get the actual Coppercube format file of the building model to see how I did all of the interactive stuff, just let me know and I will post a download link to it.

I like it! The only minor complaint I have is the camera. It is a pain to use ,and it made me dizzy. Not your fault. It's well made.

Other than adjusting the height and size of the collision bubble, the rest of the camera settings are the default Coppercube settings. So yea, what do you think of the elevator?

I like how well you implemented it. The building itself is great, too.

I appreciate all of the kind words. As for the elevator, all I can say it was a real pain in the butt figuring it out through trail and errors and many different combinations until I got it to work the way it is now. Also, coming up with a decent looking design for the stairwell was not easy either, that too took some plenty of trials and errors to finally get to the point that I like.

santito great job! modular things is the key for many optimization tasks. I think the camera velocity rotate is a bit high...
