Hello, I have been trying to get this to work without much luck. For any web-based e-learning that are on most Learning Management Systems, like Moodle most LMS support the SCORM standard/API theres a number of simple SCORM API out there, I've been trying to add loading this API file "SCORMapi.js" than trying to pass set/get variables to this using the proper calls within that particular API. But, it's just not working. What would be the best function to use? I've been trying ccbDoHTTPRequest, but there's no URL to pass, I've also tried ccbInvokeAction without any success. Do I have to declare all these functions of the SCORMapi.js to be able to call them from CC? I would think if you loaded that.js file it's also running and should accept any JavaScript calls being called within the browser session. This is quite frustrating, for CC would be so great for doing e-learning simulations and learning games, but it need to be able to add this SCORM support or the follow up standard for e-learning called XAPI, the original version was called the "Tincan API" and the vendor that created it still calls it TINCAN, since XAPI is now managed by the ADL (Advanced Distributed Learning) co-lab, which is funded in part by the US Government, although they "say" that xapi is completely "open Source". I just need an example to pass a Get or Set action or any other command that's in an included JavaScript file within the CC WebGL or Flash3D HTML shell file (Can we use the flash FSCOMMAND or other?) in FLASH again if the.js file is included in the flash html shell file. I know it's mainly my weak scripting skills, but I'm an Instructional Designer, not a programmer, I could try outputting to flash, but would also need to know if you would use FSCommand or something else to pass it from flash to the SCORM api file that was loaded along with the CC Flash output file. ANy working example of talking to another .js file within the browser session, or anyone more familiar with the SCORM 1.2 standard that knows the specific commands and can get it to work, I would be extremely grateful, possibly a small reward....grin. |
