Hi!,
i inserted a 3d sound in my scene, but when i make it invisible it stills playing.
Is there anyway to a have 3d sound placed in my scene to be muted, and start playing for example "on proximity"?

I have a man making a random patrol and have attached to him a 3d sound. I want when i shoot on him the 3d sound to stop playing and another sound (also attached to him) to start playing while the man continues to move around.

Did you try : Action --> Game and Sound --> Stop a Sound ?

i have attached to the man two 3d sounds. I want the first to be heard from the beginning until the man is been shooted and then the second sound is heared.
The problem is how to have the second sound muted until the man is been shooted!

You can simply use stop a sound....

And you can assign on proximity behaviour to player... On proximity with scene node (choose the bullet node) ... Adjust the proximity area /radius according to yourself.. .
And then execute action stop a sound...
Select the first sound.... And then assign another action play sound and then select the second sound you wanted to play...

Now the first sound will be played from starting and it will be stopped when the bullet shoot the player and another sound will be played...

Hope that works and their are more alternative ways to stop and play sound ... For example when the variable player.health decreasea stop and play sound....

Hope you understand...

thanks for the answer!!
I understand what you mean but there is still a problem!!! When the man is shooted and the first sond stops, the second sound starts playing but does not follows the man!!!
So i think that what i must do is the following:
place two 3d sounds on to the body of the man, so the sounds can follow the man. But in this case the problem is that i cant have the second sound muted from the beginning! The sounds play both from the beginning.
I dont know if you understand what i mean.
My question is: is there a way to have two 3d sounds in my scene, but to have the one muted and rady to be trigerred whenever i want!

There is no direct option for mute but you may try to find a way to change and control the volume level to 0 while it is running in background.

Yes this is a good idea, but it needs scripting which is difficult for me!!!
