I'm still hoping to see a spot light feature in lighting, and a decal system.. these two would make a world of difference in an upcoming update for both versions.

Spot lights, realtime shadows, advanced shaders, complex particles, etc
They are all possible with Three.js (in WebGL).
Maybe one day they will be available in CopperCube as well.

it will be nice if Niko use external 3d library like URHO3d it's open source and cross platform It will save a lot of time and resource
