Workaround for link to iframe issue when at preview stage ?

Hi,

I've been unable to use the workaround for targeting a submenu link to an iframe (as previously detailed) when I just need to preview in an iframe, a local page not yet uploaded. (As one does frequently during development).

I tried using the suggested workaround but with the path and file name of the local file in the URL box instead of an external webpage but to no effect.

Is it possible to use the workaround with local webpages ? I checked the location of my file and tried an absolute (and relative path to it from the index page) but can't seem to get it to show up.

My apologies in advance for any illogical assumptions I have made or what to others may appear as obvious points.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It should work. Be sure not to include the http:// part in the adress, and use a relative path instead. For example, if your other page is named 'something.html' and in the same directory as the file you link it from, let the url be just 'something.html'.

It's working fine now using the relative path exactly as you have suggested.

Thank you so much.
