Hallo,

the main reason why I've purchased RocketCake is because it adapt the accumulated website on all the different devices, such as a normal browser, a smartphone and also a tablet. Now, when i have made a webpage in RocketCake, i can view it "correct adapted" in all different device as i select them with the pull-down button in the program, but when i uploded the page, it is just a "stupid" page on the web that will not adapt hemself into all the differnt devices.

Have i mist sommething?

Yes, something doesnt seem right, thats the whole point. It should work the way you described. Maybe you made a mistake somewhere? You could post a link to your website, so we could see what went wrong.

Hm, looking at your site from a few different devices, it works perfectly for me and adjusts itself also automatically. Where doesn't it work for you? (Device / Browser / Screen size)?

Hallo,

The webpage adapts themself to the different devices by scaling the page, but then the page is no longer readable, and scrolling the page to the bottom does not work at all. There is a piece of the page missing in the view.
However, in the previews of the RocketCake program is the page not scalling themself but reorganaze the page so that text will be readable and pictures are still viewable on the screens of an iPad or even a iPhone.

Regards,
VanderNeffen

Maybe you could send me your .rcd file, and I'll have a look at it. (See support -> contact, there is also a email address written). Also, what device and browser are you using?

Difficult to say without seeing your project. Did you notice the slider in rocketcake on the bottom of the screen? You can preview how it looks on mobiles there as well. And in the browser too, just resize its window to be smaller.

I´m sorry, but the users telling is correct.
When you decrease the view, exspecially on smart, text will cut or overlays, pictures do the same. That should be solved....

If you create your website so that it will behave that way, then it will do that of course. Be sure that you always design it to be responsive. See the temolates for great examples.

I´m sorry too, but for what stand Rocket Cake? Responsive design or don´t? I have several tools they don´t show these behavior.

Where can I place some more suggestions? I have several....
- the most is the heavy differences between editor and preview
- the positioning of objects is also different from editor to preview
- missing rulers
- how can I resize a page width and heigth?
....and much more

I like Rocket Cake, a great software!!

Rulers: Hm, interesting idea, maybe going to add that.

Resizing: There is a slider on the bottom of the page, did you see it? You can adjust the website's width with that.

About the differences between editor and preview (just as I wrote in the other thread): If you have a specic thing not working in RocketCake, just send it in to me (see support -> contact), I'll see if this can be improved. Note that not everything will always 100% look like in your browser, because there are several dozen browsers out there, and all of them are doing things a bit different, so websites will look different in all of them. RocketCake tries to show it the best way possible, but of course, this isn't possible in all situations. That's just the reality of website design. You have to get used a bit to that. Use a bit more space everywhere to compensate for different browser behaviors, fonts installed on the users systems, and similar.

Rulers and resize are not the main problem more than the presentation / orientation.

Using a template and a logo with 2 text lines beisde, the lower text is not on the line with the text above. He´s a bit more on the right....

Regarding a font. What happens if I use a font that is not installed on some other systems?

I don´t mean the slider which I have seen. It decrease the size himself, but not the size of the basic presentation.
